The Islands

The Koh Hong Island Group

The Koh Hong group is made up of four main islands inside the Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. Each one has its own character, different reefs, different beaches and a different feel. Here's what to expect at each.

Koh Hong

The centrepiece, famous for its hidden lagoon, enclosed by towering limestone cliffs. The most-visited of the four, and rightly so.

Koh Pakbia

A smaller island on the northern edge of the group. Beautiful white sand, calm shallows and a completely different atmosphere from Koh Hong.

Koh Rai

The most remote of the four. Very few tours reach Koh Rai, which means quieter beaches and a more wild, untouched feeling.
